ABOUT ME

My name is Christian Robles and I am a twenty-year-old young man born in Humacao, Puerto Rico to Joel and Yolanda. I grew up in a good neighborhood surrounded by family and friends, attended the best schools from the region, played the sport I love, developed my love for the arts, but still, never figured out how my future as a professional would look like, there was always uncertainty.

In Summer 2017, after finishing my eleventh grade, I received the opportunity of going straight to university, without cursing the twelfth grade, and I took it. At that moment I still did not know what I wanted for myself. That first year was for figuring things out, although it was not until the first semester of my second year when I enrolled in a course named Algorithms and Computer Programming when I felt like I wanted to do something for the rest of my life. This was sort of a plot twist for me because growing up I was never affectionate of computers nor anything related, on the contrary, I was kind of bothered by them, but that class changed my mind. Afterward, I changed my major to Software Engineering where I am right now gaining a lot of knowledge and improving myself as a developer, and also as a professional. The most relevant courses I have approved at the moment are Advance Programming, Fundamentals of Computing, and Data Structures. Other important courses that have improved my knowledge may be Electrical Systems Analysis I, Calculus I, II and III, Linear Algebra and Differential Equations, Physics I and II, and Engineering Economic Analysis.

To this day I have experience with three programming languages, these are Java, Python, and the basics of Matlab. Although I have a solid basis on some of them, I am still looking forward to improving what I know and also learning new things. My short term goals are to graduate from my bachelor's degree and make the most of every piece of knowledge received. In the long run, I want to continue my studies and become the best version of a developer and a professional I can be.
